I think there would be less war if women were in charge. One of the main reasons is that women are the caretakers in society. They have been the ones to clean up after wars and nurse children, husbands, and the enemy after wars. I think that often they have had a better idea of what war really does to people. I think they would still fight wars to protect themselves, but would be less likely to invade other countries.
You have a very good point, the maternal instics of women would benefits society a lot but, what about feelings? Would they cause any troubles? Gossip? This is not necesarely my point of view but many people think that because of the sentimentalism of women, they wouldn't be good leaders.
